The Origins of Our Company Name

I often get asked about the inspiration behind our company name Cornerstone Protective Services LLC. Here is a brief story about the inspiration:

“The stone that the builders rejected, this one has become the Cornerstone.” 1 Peter 2:7

The cornerstone, the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, As the first stone laid, it becomes the references point for all other stones laid after it, everything finds it definition in this one piece, the Cornerstone. That is how you know it is straight and true. That is how you know if you are on the right track. That is how you know you are deviating from the original intent of the structure and in fact over time you will find you in face re the Cornerstone of all your actions both on and off post. As the fist stone provides the key definition and basis of what is right and wrong, what it true or false, and where you define your reality, you need the Cornerstone because we are pulled often in many directions by our emotions,

Today, when you ae temped to measure your self-worth by your supervisors’ opinions of you, look at your Cornerstone.

Today when you are tempted to disbelieve the love of your brothers who wear the same patch and uniform s you, because you feel you are in over your head due to circumstances beyond you, reach out to your Cornerstone.

Today, when anger rises in you because you feel that you are being unfairly treated, look towards your Cornerstone.

Where a Cornerstone is a foundation of a building, we here at Cornerstone treat u security approach as an individual contribution to the strength of your overall business investment. We pride ourselves on frequent training courses for employees, invites our customers to participate in training courses as well. We are committed to one another as a group that we will grow strictly by customer referrals and word of mouth. We swore an oath to one another always have our core commitments of integrity, honor, and hard work reflect who and what we always do.

We take great pride in our community and representing the same. We strive to build relationships and not make as big a profit as we can by providing something our customers were sold and we cannot deliver on.

We continually train in conflict resolution and customer service. Continually go over current state statues for where we serve. We will soon offer D and G instruction from master’s Level Teacher and Company President Ryan Burke

We do not go around calling one another by rank, however we address each other as brother because we are all trained and empowered to make critical time sensitive decisions.

Our leadership team is held to a higher standard, and they must show evidence of them continually working with newer officers through coaching, mentoring, and case studies in small groups.

The “open-door” policy is very much real, and if we are not in an officer, or in person you can reach the company owner on his phone 24 hours a day.

Our employees are our most important assets, and we believe that in preparing them for success utilizing a servant style of leadership they will grow into the next wave of supervisory candidates.

We do not go around touting the words “Pride,” or “Elite,” rather we would rather be known as honest, hardworking, and honorable.

We are always willing to talk to anyone about security and what it takes to be a Florida licensed security officer.
